NEW ORLEANS, La-- The University of Mobile volleyball team defeated Dillard 3-0 (25-22, 25-9, 25-22) in non-conference action Thursday evening.

Mobile (23-11, 7-5) will host Loyola University Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 7:30 pm in a SSAC West matchup.

Kiara Gay led Mobile with 14 kills and a .333 attack percentage, while Alison Kenney added 10 kills and 13 digs for a double-double.

Reagin Boggs paced the team with 19 assists, followed by 18 from Melody Tenney, and Sara Van Wert served up six of the team's 11 aces.

Jessica Goods-Morris led Dillard with 7 blocks, and Mobile held the Lady Bleu Devils to a .063 hitting percentage.

Dillard was within 14-15 in the first set, but a run of four straight points with Van Wert at the service line gave Mobile enough cushion to pull away.

The second set was all Mobile, with four runs of four or more, and in the final set, Mobile trailed 18-17, but took six of the next eight points to regain control.
