Baseball Smacks Bears 9-4 In Series-Opener

CLEVELAND, Ga-- The University of Mobile baseball team pounded out 22 hits to beat Truett-McConnell 9-4 in Friday's Southern States Athletic Conference series opener. Mobile (15-9, 5-5) and Truett finish the series with a noon doubleheader Saturday. Ryan Parazine and Angelo Bruno led the Rams with four hits apiece, with Bruno smacking a home run in the game.

Men's Tennis Stays Unbeaten With 8-1 Home Victory

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's tennis team improved to 6-0 on the season with an 8-1 victory over visiting Transylvania Wednesday. Mobile (6-0, 1-0) hosts rival Spring Hill Friday at 5 pm. The Rams took two-of-three doubles points and then swept the visitors in singles play.

Lady Rams Move To 7-0 With 6-3 Victory

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's tennis team defeated visiting Transylvania 6-3 Wednesday to improve to 7-0 on the season. Mobile (7-0, 1-0) hosts rival Spring Hill College Friday at 5 pm. The Lady Rams rolled to wins at No. 1 and 2 doubles, and then Ambria Phillips' 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 4 singles clinched the match for Mobile.

Mobile Scores Late And Sweeps No. 18 Eagles

MOBILE, Ala-- The 19th-ranked University of Mobile softball team swept a doubleheader from 18th-ranked Central Methodist University Tuesday, winning by scores of 6-1 and 9-4 in non-conference action. Mobile (12-5) heads to the William Carey Invitational Saturday to face LSU-Alexandria at 11 am and Embry-Riddle at 1 pm.

UMobile Cancels Monday & Wednesday Baseball Games

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile baseball team has announced a pair of changes to its upcoming schedule. The Rams' scheduled game with Blackburn College today has been canceled due to rain, and Mobile's scheduled 1 pm home doubleheader Wednesday against Tougaloo has been postponed because Tougaloo is on spring break, and cannot stay on campus.
