19th-Ranked Lady Rams Split Home Doubleheader

MOBILE, Ala-- The 19th-ranked University of Mobile softball team split a home doubleheader with visiting Cardinal Stritch University Monday evening. Mobile dropped the first game 0-1 and took the finale 2-0. Mobile (4-2) hosts Talladega for a non-conference doubleheader Tuesday at 1 pm. Kamaron Strickland picked up the win in the finale with a complete-game shutout, striking out five and allowing only four hits.

Rams Sweep Wolf Pack By Scores Of 4-1 And 13-2

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile baseball team swept Saturday's doubleheader versus Loyola by scores of 4-1 and 13-2 to finish a sweep of the three-game Southern States Athletic Conference series at Jacobs Field. Mobile (10-8, 4-5) will host Lyon College Wednesday for a noon doubleheader. The Rams took game one behind a complete-game effort from Shane Ikner and ten hits from the lineup.

Men's Tennis Cruises To SSAC Road Win

NEW ORLEANS, La.-- The University of Mobile men's tennis team defeated Loyola University 8-1 in road Southern States Athletic Conference action. Mobile (4-0, 1-0) hosts LeTourneau University March 11 at 1 pm. Mobile swept doubles play, with an 8-1 win from Marcio Dal Pont and Santiago Casucci at No. 2 and an 8-2 win from Lucas Tristao and Guilherme Arcaro at No. 3.

Lady Rams Earn 9-0 Victory At Loyola

NEW ORLEANS, La-- The University of Mobile women's tennis team went on the road and picked up a 9-0 win at Loyola University Friday afternoon. Mobile (5-0, 1-0) hosts LeTourneau University March 11 at 1 pm. The Lady Rams won all three doubles matches by a combined 24-7 margin and then swept singles.

Rams Use Six-Run 5th To Beat Loyola 8-5

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile baseball team used a six-run 5th inning to beat Loyola University 8-5 in the Southern States Athletic Conference series opener Friday at Jacobs Field. Mobile (8-8, 2-5) hosts the Wolf Pack for a noon doubleheader Saturday to cap the series. Trailing 5-2 heading to the bottom of the 5th, the Rams sent 12 hitters to the plate and scored six runs on five hits to take control of the game.

Rams' Season Comes To a Close Against No. 12 WCU

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team fell 63-75 to 12th-ranked William Carey in the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament Thursday evening. Mobile ends the season with a 16-14 overall record. Brandon Morris was the lone Ram to score in double figures, finishing the game with 21 points on 8-of-16 shooting from the floor and 4-of-8 shooting from 3-point range.

Lady Rams' Season Comes To An End Against No. 7 Lee

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- One year after failing to make the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament, the University of Mobile women's basketball team advanced to the second round, where they fell 58-83 to 7th-ranked Lee University. Mobile (16-15) sees its season come to an end, while Lee (27-2) stays alive in postseason play.

Rams Earn SSAC Honors

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team had three athletes honored by the Southern States Athletic Conference with the release of the SSAC Year-End Awards Wednesday evening. Cole Fountain was named All-Freshman, Marcus Polnett and Cody Scott earned All-Academic honors and Polnett was the team's Champions of Character honoree.
