Mobile Finishes 2nd In Thomas Howell Cup Standings

HATTIESBURG, Miss-- The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference announced the 2010 Thomas Howell Cup winner Tuesday and Belhaven University edged out the University of Mobile to win the coveted trophy for the first time in school history. The Thomas Howell Cup is awarded to the school with the highest number of points based on the order of finish in the various sports they participate in.

Lady Rams Finish 6th At GCAC Championship

CLINTON, Miss-- The University of Mobile women's cross country team finished in 6th place at the 2009 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Championship at Choctaw Trails Course Saturday morning.

The Lady Rams finished with 153 points and a time of 2:11:40 in the 5K meet. Xavier won the event with 38 points and a time of 1:45:23.

UM Women Run At Mobile Rampage

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's cross country team had a trio of runners compete at the 2009 Mobile Rampage Saturday on the University of Mobile campus.

A team needs five runners to qualify as a team, so Mobile did not have a team score, but the individual runners that ran in the meet showed improvement.

Cross Country Runs At Gulf Coast Stampede

PENSACOLA, Fla-- The University of Mobile men's cross country team finished 10th out of 11 teams at the Gulf Coast Stampede Saturday morning.

The Rams finished with 315 points and a team time of 2:48:41.01, while University of South Alabama won the meet with 19 points and a time of 2:07:27.00.
