Pair Of Lady Rams Earn SSAC Honors

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile's Ann Kathrin Nahl and Abbie Harris were honored by the Southern States Athletic Conference Thursday, with the release of the 2012 SSAC postseason awards. Nahl, a sophomore from Waeschenbeuren, Germany was named the team's Musco Lighting Champions of Character recipient, All-Conference and All-Academic. Harris was named to the All-Tournament Team.

Lady Ram Golfers Place 3rd At SSAC Championships

PASS CHRISTIAN, Miss-- The University of Mobile finished 3rd at the 2012 SSAC Women's Golf Championships Wednesday at The Oaks Golf Club's Par-72, 5,880-yard course. Lee University won the two-round tournament and the automatic bid to the 2012 NAIA Women's Golf National Championships with a 38-over 614 (310, 304). The Lady Rams finished two spots behind the Flames at 105-over 681 (343, 338), while Shorter placed 2nd at +75 651 (329, 322). UMobile finished 49 strokes ahead of the 5th-place Spring Hill College Badgers.

Lady Rams Finish 3rd At Piedmont Invitational

CLARKESVILLE, Ga-- The University of Mobile women's golf team finished in 3rd place at the Piedmont Spring Invitational Tuesday. The Lady Rams carded a collective 79-over 655 (326, 329) at The Orchard Golf & Country Club. Lee University won the tournament with a +28 604 (305, 299). Ann Nahl finished in a tie for 10th among individuals after firing a 12-over 156 (77, 79). Lee's Courtney Shelton finished 1st with a 2-over 146 (72, 74). The best scores in each round were 72 and 73.

Lady Ram Golfers Finish Eagle Invitational In 11th

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla-- The University of Mobile women's golf team finished 11th at the 23rd Annual Eagle Invitational Tuesday. The two-day tournament took place at the Par-72, 6,085-yard LPGA International Champions Course. The Lady Rams carded a collective 87-over 663 (325, 338), while Lynn University won the tournament with a +31 607 (298, 309).

Lady Rams Sit In 9th After Round 1

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla-- The University of Mobile women's golf team sits in a tie for 9th after one round of play at the 23rd Annual Eagle Invitational. The tournament is taking place at the Par-72, 6,085-yard LPGA International Champions Course. The Lady Rams carded a collected 325, sitting 27 strokes behind tournament leader Lynn University, which carded a 298.

Lady Rams Win SHC Invite

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's golf team won the 2012 Spring Hill Badger Invite. The Lady Rams had the best score in both rounds of competition, finishing at +135 711 (356, 355) to beat the Badgers by five strokes, after Spring Hill finished at +140 716 (360, 356). All UMobile golfers finished in the Top-10 among individual performers, led by Emily Blount's 3rd-place finish after she shot a 28-over 172 (84, 88).

Lady Rams Place 12th At USA Invitational

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's golf team finished in 12th place at the 10th Annual USA Women's Invitational Tuesday. The tournament took place at the Par-72, 6071-yard Azalea City Golf Course. The Lady Rams carded a collective 101-over 677 (332, 345) to edge out the only other NAIA team in the field, Spring Hill, who finished with a +144 720 (359, 361).

Lady Rams Complete One Round At USA Women's Invite

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's golf team sits in a tie for 11th after one round of play at the 10th Annual USA Women's Invitational held at Azalea City Golf Club. Mobile shot a 44-over 332 in rainy conditions on day one, while South Alabama holds a two stroke lead for the top spot after carding a 16-over 304. Butler is in 2nd with an 18-over 306. Rival Spring Hill sits in 13th with a +71 359.

UMobile Women's Golf Ties For 3rd At Tournament

LAKE WALES, Fla-- The University of Mobile women's golf team finished in a tie for 3rd at the 8th Annual Start 2 Finish Monday. The tournament took place at the Par-72, 5,825-yard Lake Wales CC.  The Lady Rams carded a 124-over 700 (344, 356) to finish in a tie with SCAD-Atlanta (339, 361). Coastal Georgia finished 1st with a 64-over 640 (332, 308) and Centre College placed 2nd at 76-over 652 (327, 325).

Lady Rams Sit In 4th After Day One

LAKE WALES, Fla-- The University of Mobile women's golf team sits in 4th place after 18 holes of competition at the 8th Annual Start 2 Finish Classic. The tournament is being held at the Par-72, 5825-yard Lake Wales CC. The Lady Rams carded a 56-over 344 to sit 17 strokes behind leading Centre College, which fired a collective 39-over 327 through the opening 18 holes. Warner University is in 5th place, 18 strokes behind Mobile.
