MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The 2nd-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team fell to Faulkner University on penalty kicks Thursday in the SSAC Semifinals after the teams tied 0-0 through two overtimes. Faulkner won (3/4) to (0/3). Mobile (15-3-2) will next play at the 2012 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship Nov. 26 - Dec. 1 in Orange Beach, Ala.

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The 2nd-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team earned numerous year-end awards, as announced by the Southern States Athletics Conference Wednesday evening. Bekah Counce, Christy Lachappelle and Olivia Maddox earned 1st-Team All-Conference honors, while Jesslyn Fagundes, Melissa Maddox, Gillian McMahon and Rebekah Spalding earned 2nd-Team All-Conference honors.

MOBILE, Ala-- The 2nd-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team defeated Truett-McConnell 2-0 in the first round of the SSAC Tournament Saturday afternoon. Mobile (15-3-1, 10-1) advances to the Quarterfinals in Montgomery Nov. 8. The Lady Rams dominated possession, out shooting the Bears 25-4 for the game and finishing with an 11-2 edge in shots on frame.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile has announced game times for Saturday's men's and women's soccer SSAC Tournament games, and altered the times of Saturday's season-opening basketball games. Women's soccer will host Truett-McConnell at 1 pm, followed by the men hosting Lee University at 3 pm. Women's basketball will host Fisk University at 5 pm, followed by men's basketball battling Fisk at 7 pm.

MOBILE, Ala-- It was the Christy Lachappelle show Saturday afternoon as the 4th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team blasted rival Spring Hill College 4-0 in Southern States Athletic Conference action. Mobile (14-3-1, 10-1) will host a SSAC Tournament first round game Saturday, Nov. 3 with time and opponent to be announced.The Lady Rams are the 2nd seed, behind top-ranked Lee University.

MOBILE, Ala-- Jesslyn Fagundes' goal in the 106th minute gave the 4th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team a 2-1 double-overtime victory over 5th-ranked William Carey University Wednesday in SSAC action. The game was scoreless for 70 minutes until Rebekah Spalding just got a piece of Christy Lachappelle's free kick to redirect the ball inside the far post at the 70:33 mark.

JACKSON, Miss-- The 4th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team shut out Southern States Athletic Conference foe Belhaven University 3-0 in road action Saturday evening. Mobile (12-3-1, 8-1) hosts 5th-ranked William Carey University Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 5 pm. The Lady Rams out shot Belhaven 18-6 and finished with a 13-4 edge in shots on target.

MT VERNON, Ga-- The 4th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team crushed Brewton-Parker 9-0 in Southern States Athletic Conference action Saturday. Mobile (11-3-1, 7-1) will visit Belhaven University Saturday, Oct. 20 at 5 pm. Monique Martinez and LaTesha Fleming each finished with two goals in the game for Mobile, while Melissa Maddox had three assists and Christy Lachappelle and Sarah Duren each finished with two assists.
