PULASKI, Tenn-- The 5th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team hit the road Saturday evening to take down 7th-ranked Martin Methodist College 1-0. UMobile (2-0) will host Northwood Saturday, Sept. 1 at 5 pm. The Lady Rams out shot the RedHawks 16-6 for the game and finished with a 5-2 edge in shots on target. Gillian McMahon finished with a two-save shutout in goal for Mobile.

ORANGE BEACH, Ala-- The 5th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team opened the 2012 season with a 2-1 victory over Grand View University in non-conference action Monday evening. The game was scheduled to take place at the University of Mobile, but rain forced the teams to move the contest to the Orange Beach Sportsplex. Mobile (1-0) will visit 7th-ranked Martin Methodist Saturday, Aug. 25 at 6 pm.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's soccer program has announced its 2012 recruiting class. Head Coach Brian Person has added ten student-athletes to the team, as UMobile looks to get back to the Round of 8, and further, at the NAIA National Championship. Players listed below with comments from Person on each recruit.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has awarded the 2012 and 2013 Women’s Soccer National Championships to Orange Beach, Ala. The 29th and 30th annual events will take place at the Orange Beach Sportsplex and will be co-hosted by the Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Sports Commission and the University of Mobile. The 2012 National Championship is scheduled for Nov. 26 – Dec. 1, with the 2013 tournament taking place Dec. 2 – 7.

KANSAS CITY, Mo-- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics released the 2011 Women's Soccer All-America teams Monday, and the University of Mobile had four student-athletes honored. Lorna Brownlie was tabbed a Third Team All-American, while Christy Lachappelle, Bekah Counce and Olivia Maddox earned Honorable Mention honors.

DECATUR, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team had four players named 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Friday. Student-athletes are nominated by their institution's head coach and must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status in order to qualify for the honor.

DECATUR, Ala-- The 2nd-seeded Azusa Pacific University Lady Cougars ousted the 7th-seeded University of Mobile Lady Rams by a 4-0 score in the quarterfinals of the 2011 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championships Wednesday afternoon. Mobile (19-4-1) advanced to the National Championship for the second-straight season and the quarterfinals is the furthest they have advanced since a 3rd-place finish in 1998.

DECATUR, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team defeated Graceland (Iowa) 4-1 at the 2011 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship to advance to the Quarterfinals Wednesday at 1:30 pm against No. 2 seed Azusa Pacific. The Lady Rams (19-3-1) out shot Graceland 17-10, including a 12-2 edge in the second half when Mobile tallied three goals to put the game away.

DECATUR, Ala-- The 7th-seeded University of Mobile women's soccer team will be one of sixteen teams competing at the final site of the 2011 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship Nov. 28 - Dec. 3 in Decatur, Ala. The Lady Rams defeated UT-Brownsville in Saturday's Opening Round to improve to 18-3-1 on the year. Mobile will face Graceland (10-6-4), who toppled Concordia on penalty kicks after a 0-0 tie, Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 1:30 pm.

MOBILE, Ala-- The 5th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team defeated University of Texas at Brownsville 2-1 in a NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship Opening Round contest Saturday evening. With the win, Mobile (18-3-1) will advance to the final site of the 2011 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship in Decatur, Ala., Nov. 28 - Dec. 3. Mobile will face Graceland (Iowa) Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 1:30 pm. The Lady Scorpions end the year at 17-3-1.
