Lady Rams Earn Split At 7th-Ranked Warhawks

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile softball team earned a split at 7th-ranked Auburn University-Montgomery in Southern States Athletic Conference action Tuesday. Mobile won the opener 3-1 before being run-ruled 9-0 in the five-inning finale. Mobile (24-19, 9-13) will visit Faulkner University Wednesday at 2 pm for a doubleheader.

No. 22 Badgers Take Pair From Lady Rams

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile softball team dropped a pair of close games at No. 22 Spring Hill Saturday. The Badgers took the opener 3-0 and then won 2-1 in an eight-inning finale. Mobile (23-18, 8-12) visits 6th-ranked Auburn-Montgomery Tuesday, April 23 at 4 pm for a pair of games. Spring Hill moves to 35-9 and 13-6.

No. 22 Lady Rams Drop Two To No. 24 Badgers

MOBILE, Ala-- The 22nd-ranked University of Mobile softball team dropped a Southern States Athletic Conference doubleheader to 24th-ranked Spring Hill College Saturday. The Badgers took the opener 6-0 and won the finale 1-0 in eight innings. Mobile (20-16, 5-10) visits Brewton-Parker Friday, April 12 at 12 pm for a conference twin bill. The Badgers move to 28-8 overall and 8-5 in conference.

No. 22 Lady Rams Drop Pair To No. 10 William Carey

HATTIESBURG, Miss-- The 22nd-ranked University of Mobile Lady Rams dropped a pair of Southern States Athletic Conference softball games to 10th-ranked William Carey Tuesday. William Carey won the opener 9-1 in six and then took the finale 4-1. Mobile (20-14, 5-8) hosts rival Spring Hill Saturday for a 3 pm conference doubleheader. That will close out the home slate for Mobile in 2013.

No. 21 Lady Rams Sweep Pair From Visiting Faulkner

MOBILE, Ala-- The 21st-ranked University of Mobile softball team swept a doubleheader from visiting Faulkner University Saturday, taking the opener 5-4, before run-ruling the Lady Eagles 9-0 in five innings. Mobile (20-12, 5-6) visits William Carey Tuesday at 4 pm. Faulkner came in receiving votes in the NAIA Top-25.

Four Rams Earn SSAC Player Of The Week Honors

MOBILE, Ala-- The Southern States Athletic Conference released the Player of the Week awards for the week of March 18-24, and the University of Mobile had four athletes honored. Jared Brannon was named Player of the Week for baseball, Chase Blan won honors for men's golf, Kamaron Strickland was named Softball Pitcher of the Week and Aggy Rozite was named Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

No. 21 Lady Rams Fall To 3rd-Ranked Flames

MOBILE, Ala-- The 21st-ranked University of Mobile softball team fell 1-6 against 3rd-ranked Lee University in Southern States Athletic Conference action Saturday afternoon. Game two of the doubleheader was canceled due to inclement weather. Mobile (15-9, 2-3) hosts 18th-ranked Belhaven University for a SSAC doubleheader Tuesday at 5 pm.

MOBILE, Ala-- The 21st-ranked University of Mobile softball team swept visiting Truett-McConnell College in Southern States Athletic Conference play Friday, run-ruling the Bears 8-0 in five innings in the opener and taking the final game 7-1. Mobile (17-8, 2-2) hosts 3rd-ranked Lee University Saturday for a noon doubleheader.

MOBILE, Ala-- The 21st-ranked University of Mobile softball team handed 4th-ranked Rogers State University its first loss of the season Thursday, run-ruling the Hillcats 9-1 in six innings in the final game after dropping the opener 9-7 in eight innings. Mobile (15-8, 0-2) hosts Truett-McConnell Friday at 1 pm for a Southern States Athletic Conference twin bill.
