SHREVEPORT, La-- The 12th-ranked LSU-Shreveport Pilots scored 15 runs on 12 hits to defeat the University of Mobile 15-3 in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference action Saturday. The Rams (20-32, 13-21) and the Pilots (42-10, 25-7) will await the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament May 5-10 at Smith-Wills Stadium in Ridgeland, Miss.

SHREVEPORT, La-- The 12th-ranked LSU-Shreveport Pilots took a Gulf Coast Athletic Conference twin bill from the University of Mobile baseball team by scores of 5-4 and 18-1 Friday. Mobile (20-31, 13-20) and LSUS (41-10, 24-7) finish the series with an 11 am contest Saturday. Next up will be the GCAC Tournament at Smith-Wills Stadium in Ridgeland, Miss. May 5-10.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile baseball team finished out its 2010 home schedule by dropping a doubleheader to Lambuth University Sunday. Lambuth won the opener 12-0 in five innings and took the finale 6-5 in nine innings. Mobile (20-29, 13-18) will close out the regular season at LSU-Shreveport with a three-game conference series beginning Friday at 6:30 pm.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile baseball team rallied for a 7-6 win over Spring Hill in Saturday's opener to salvage a split of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference twin bill. The Badgers beat the Rams 19-10 in the finale. John Ladnier got the win in the 7-inning opener for Mobile with 2 innings of 2-hit, shutout relief.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile spotted Spring Hill four runs in the 1st inning and rallied to win 6-5 in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference baseball action Friday at Mobile. Mobile (19-26, 12-17) and Spring Hill (24-20, 13-14) finish the series with a doubleheader Saturday at 1 pm. Chris Peacock picked up the win after allowing 3 earned runs on 8 hits in 7 innings. He struck out 4 and walked 4. John Ladnier picked up a 2-inning save, allowing only 1 hit and fanning 2.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile baseball team dropped both ends of Saturday's Gulf Coast Athletic Conference twin bill with William Carey, falling 9-4 in the opener and 11-4 in the finale. Matt Carter grabbed the win for William Carey in the opener by scattering 10 hits over 7 innings, while allowing only 2 earned runs. Justin Beck went 3-4 with 3 runs scored for Mobile, while Hunter Norris finished 2-3 with 2 RBI. Ian Sharpe went 2-4 with 2 RBI and Josh Dannelley finished 2-4 with 3 RBI for the Crusaders

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile baseball team defeated William Carey University 7-4 Friday afternoon in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference play. Mobile (18-24, 11-15) and William Carey (20-21, 16-10) will finish the three-game series with a doubleheader Saturday at 1 pm. Chris Peacock threw 132 pitches to grab the complete-game victory for the Rams.

MONTGOMERY—Sam Judah had three hits and three RBI and Justin Williams added three hits and two RBI to lead Auburn Montgomery to a 9-5 win over the University of Mobile in non-conference college baseball action. AUM committed four errors on the day and those four errors led to four unearned runs. The errors started in the first inning as Derek Bourgeois scored on a Hunter Norris ground ball that was misplayed in the infield with two outs.

WESTWEGO, La-- Saturday was a day of highs and lows for the University of Mobile baseball team as they split a conference doubleheader at Loyola University-New Orleans. Loyola took the opening game 9-1, but Mobile rebounded to take the finale 9-0. Mobile (17-23, 10-15) travels to Auburn University-Montgomery for a doubleheader Tuesday, April 6 at 3 pm. Jarrin Brister scattered 7 hits over 8 shutout innings to grab the win in the finale, while striking out and walking 2. Offensively, the Rams pounded out 16 hits and put up tallies in five of the nine innings.
