MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team fell 57-66 to 13th-ranked Xavier University-Louisiana in non-conference NAIA action Thursday at Pharr Gym. Mobile is now 24-6 at home the past two seasons. Donte Walker led the Rams with 17 points on 5-of-8 shooting, while Ji Kimbrough chipped in 13 points. Anthony Simmons led Xavier with 14 points, while Kevin Miller chipped in 13.

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team fell 54-52 at Auburn University-Montgomery in SSAC West action Saturday. Mobile (13-11, 6-3) sits in a tie for 1st in the SSAC West and will host Xavier Thursday, Feb. 17 in a non-conference battle at 7:30 pm. Brock Dockery led Mobile with 14 points and 9 rebounds on 6-of-9 shooting, while Matthew Turner added 12 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field.

MOBILE, Ala-- Donte Walker played the role of hero Thursday night as the University of Mobile men's basketball team defeated Belhaven University 76-74 in SSAC West action at Pharr Gym. The Rams never trailed in the final half and the game was only tied once, but that did not stop it from being a thrilling finish.

Mobile (12-9, 5-1) will visit William Carey Saturday at 7 pm. Donte Walker led Mobile with 16 points, Spencer Duke added 13 points, Ji Kimbrough finished with 12 and Matthew Turner added 10 points and 6 rebounds inside.

Ji Kimbrough led the Rams with 16 points thanks to an 8-of-11 effort from the free throw line, Kevin Calloway and Donte Walker each chipped in 15 points and Bentley Hylton finished with 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting.

Donte Walker added 14 points thanks to an 8-of-11 effort from the charity stripe and Brock Dockery added 12 points on 4-of-8 shooting from 3-point range.

Donte Walker poured in 22 points thanks to a 15-of-16 effort from the charity stripe, while Matthew Turner added 13 points and 8 boards for the Rams. Jeremy Lee led Xavier with 15 points, while Anthony Simmons added 13.

Mobile (9-8) will visit Xavier University-Louisiana Monday, Jan. 24 at 7:30 pm in non-conference action before returning home to host rival Spring Hill College Thursday, Jan. 27 at 7:30 pm. Bentley Hylton led four Rams in double figures with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists, while Brock Dockery added 11 points. Donte Walker and Matthew Turner each chipped in 10 points to the Rams' cause.
