FRANKLIN SPRINGS, Ga-- The University of Mobile men's basketball fell 66-75 at Emmanuel College in an overtime contest Saturday. Mobile (4-4, 1-3) hosts Concordia-Selma Saturday, Dec. 8 at 7:00 pm. Chris Richardson led the Rams with 15 points, while Cole Fountain added 13 points on 5-of-8 shooting and 6 rebounds off the bench.

CENTRAL, S.C.-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team fell 55-64 at Southern States Athletic Conference opponent Southern Wesleyan Friday evening. Mobile (4-3, 1-2) visits Emmanuel Saturday at 4 pm. Chris Richardson was the lone Ram in double figures with 17 points, while Marcus Polnett added 7 points for Mobile.

NEW ORLEANS, La-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team fell 66-69 at Xavier University in non-conference action Tuesday evening. Mobile (4-2) visits Southern Wesleyan Friday at 7:30 pm. Kwame Beard led the Rams with 21 points, Chris Richardson added 14 points and Dominick Brumfield finished with 10 points and 12 boards. TJ Simon had 6 assists for the Rams.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team held off a late Bobcat rally to beat St. Thomas 76-73 in non-conference action at Pharr Gym Wednesday night. Mobile (4-1, 1-1) visits Xavier University Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 7 pm. Dominick Brumfield tallied 21 points and 12 boards for the Rams on 9-of-12 shooting, while Kwame Beard finished with 20 points and 5 assists.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team fell 55-67 to 15th-ranked Lee University in Southern States Athletic Conference action Saturday at Pharr Gym. Mobile (3-1, 1-1) hosts St. Thomas University Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 7:30 pm. The Rams struggled offensively all game, shooting just 28% (15-53) from the floor, compared to 50% (26-52) for the Flames.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team crashed the boards to beat Brewton-Parker College 56-45 in Southern States Athletic Conference action Friday evening. Mobile (3-0, 1-0) hosts Lee University Saturday at 5 pm. The Rams out-rebounded the Barons 47-26 and grabbed a 16-8 edge on the offensive boards to overcome 26 turnovers and a 47% effort from the charity stripe.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team defeated visiting Pensacola Christian College 59-50 in non-conference action Thursday evening. Mobile (2-0) visits Nicholls State Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 6:30 pm for an exhibition contest. Chris Richardson led the Rams with 23 points, while Kwame Beard added 11 points and Kevin Calloway finished with 11 points and 11 boards. Richardson has now gone for 20+ in both games of the season to start his UMobile career.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team opened the 2012-13 season with an 89-81 home win over Fisk University Saturday. Mobile (1-0) hosts Pensacola Christian College Thursday, Nov. 8 at 7:30 pm. Chris Richardson led the team with 26 points on 11-of-19 shooting, Dominick Brumfield added 19 points and 14 rebounds off the bench, and both Kwame Beard and Marcus Polnett finished with 10 points for Mobile.

NORCROSS, Ga. – The Southern States Athletic Conference released the 2012 Men’s Basketball Coaches Preseason Poll, on Wednesday, October 31
st. The coaches poll consisted of the head coach from each institution ranking the SSAC overall and their division standings. Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU) has been selected by the coaches as the overall SSAC champion receiving 151 points. Lee University trails SPSU by only a four point margin with 147. Loyola rounds out the top three with 124 points.
