MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team fell 58-64 to Faulkner University Thursday in SSAC action at Pharr Gym. The Rams (13-15, 9-8) are 2nd in the SSAC West and will visit 1st place Loyola (18-9, 10-7) Saturday at 4 pm to close out the regular season. Christian Salinas hit 4-of-7 from 3-point range to score 12 points for the Rams, while Antonio Hester added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks. Ji Kimbrough finished with 11 points for Mobile.

Mobile (13-14, 9-7) hosts Faulkner Thursday, Feb. 23 at 7:30 pm. Ji Kimbrough led the Rams and all scorers with 29 points after going 14-of-15 from the charity stripe, while Brock Dockery finished with 15 and Christian Salinas tallied 10 off the bench.

The Rams (12-14, 8-7) hos rival Spring Hill (12-10, 6-8) Saturday at 7 pm. Antonio Hester led Mobile with 17 points, 14 rebounds and 6 blocks, Ji Kimbrough added 12 points and Cody Scott tallied 11 points and 9 boards off the bench for the Rams.

Mobile (12-13, 8-7) will host Tougaloo College Thursday at 7:30 pm. Ji Kimbrough led the Rams with 17 points and 8 rebounds, Cody Scott added 13 points on 6-of-9 shooting and Jonathan Tinch finished with 11 points for Mobile. Marquez Brooks led five Warhawks in double figures with 14 points.

JACKSON, Miss-- Despite Antonio Hester's incredible performance, the University of Mobile men's basketball team fell 54-63 at Southern States Athletic Conference foe Belhaven University Thursday evening. Hester tallied 30 points on 14-of-15 shooting, added 18 rebounds, and finished with 6 blocks, while the next highest point total was 8 from Brock Dockery. Arnold Daryl led Belhaven with 23 points on 11-of-14 shooting from the charity stripe.

Mobile (11-12, 7-6) visits Belhaven University Thursday, Feb. 9 at 7:30 pm. Antonio Hester led Mobile with 16 points and 15 rebounds, while Christian Salinas and Matthew Turner each added 11 points off the bench. Jamal Doss led William Carey with 19 points on 7-of-9 shooting and added six blocks.

Christian Salinas added 13 points, Cody Scott finished with 12 and Spencer Duke tallied 11 for the Rams.

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- Faulkner University topped UMobile 63-60 in SSAC men's basketball action Saturday afternoon. Mobile (9-12, 5-6) hosts Loyola University Thursday, Feb. 2 at 7:30 pm. Ji Kimbrough led Mobile with 19 points, Jonathan Tinch added 13 and Antonio Hester finished with 10 points for the Rams. Chris Palmore led Faulkner with 18 points on 7-of-10 shooting.

Antonio Hester led the Rams with 21 points and 10 rebounds, while Ji Kimbrough finished with 18, Matthew Turner scored 11 and grabbed 9 boards and Jonathan Tinch tallied 10 points. Todd Martin led the Badgers with 17 points, while Stephen Burches added 14 points and 6 assists.

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- Auburn University-Montgomery defeated the University of Mobile 57-56 on a last-second jumper in overtime in SSAC men's basketball action Thursday. Mobile (8-11, 4-5) visits Spring Hill Jan. 26 at 7:30 pm. Antonio Hester led Mobile with 21 points and 19 rebounds, while Ji Kimbrough finished with 18 points. All other Rams combined for only 17 points. Marquez Brooks led the Warhawks with 17 points on 6-of-15 shooting.
