MOBILE, Ala-- The 9th-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team won the 2012 Southern States Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship by beating rival Spring Hill 3-1 Saturday. Mobile (13-3-1, 9-2) won the regular season title last year and the tournament championship in 2010. The Rams will host an opening round game of the SSAC Tournament Saturday, Nov. 3, with time and opponent TBA.

MOBILE, Ala-- The 9th-ranked University men's soccer team shut out visiting William Carey University 2-0 in Southern States Athletic Conference action Wednesday evening. Mobile (12-3-1, 8-2) visits Spring Hill Saturday at 3:30 pm to close out the regular season. The Rams currently sit atop the SSAC standings with 24 points, while Belhaven, Southern Wesleyan and Auburn-Montgomery all have 22.

KANSAS CITY, Mo-- The University of Mobile's Gaetan Massiah has been named NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 15-21, as announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics. Massiah and the 18th-ranked Rams played only one game on the week, but that was all he needed to make a big impression. The freshman midfielder scored a hat trick to lead the Rams to a 3-1 win over 6th-ranked Belhaven University on Oct. 20.

JACKSON, Miss-- The 18th-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team used a hat trick from Gaetan Massiah to rally past 6th-ranked Belhaven University by a 3-1 score in Southern States Athletic Conference action Saturday. Mobile (11-3-1, 7-2) hosts William Carey University Wednesday, Oct. 24 at 7:30 pm. The Rams out shot Belhaven 14-7 and finished with a 10-4 edge in shots on target. Xavier Audergon finished with three saves in goal for the Rams.

MT. VERNON, Ga-- The 19th-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team blanked Brewton-Parker 5-0 in Southern States Athletic Conference action Saturday. Mobile (10-3-1, 6-2) visits 5th-ranked Belhaven Saturday, Oct. 20 at 7 pm. The Rams out shot the Barons 22-12 and held a 15-4 edge in shots on target.

KANSAS CITY, Mo.-- The University of Mobile's Naissim Ayadi has been named the NAIA National Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. Ayadi was selected based on his performance Oct. 1-7, and was chosen out of a pool of conference/independent/unaffiliated groupings. Ayadi, a sophomore midfielder from Paris, France, tallied 3 goals and 3 assists in two Southern States Athletic Conference victories on the week, finishing with a team high 9 points.

MOBILE, Ala--The 23rd-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team cruised to a 6-1 win over visiting Faulkner University in Southern States Athletic Conference action Saturday. Mobile (8-3-1, 4-2) will visit Emmanuel Oct. 11 at 6 pm CST. The Rams only finished with a 17-13 edge in shots, but had a 10-5 edge in shots on frame, and they wasted little time in setting the tempo. The first score came just 1:45 into the game, when Gaetan Massiah volleyed home a cross from Gunnar Steindorsson from point-blank range.

MOBILE, Ala-- The 23rd-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team beat the 3rd-ranked Auburn-Montgomery Warhawks Wednesday, using four 2nd-half goals to win 6-2 in Southern States Athletic Conference action. Mobile (7-3-1, 3-2) will host Faulkner University Saturday at 7:30 pm. Despite the dominance on the scoreboard, the shots were even in the game at 17 apiece and Mobile held a slim 10-8 edge in shots on target.

MOBILE, Ala-- The 14th-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team blasted visiting Truett-McConnell 6-0 in Southern States Athletic Conference action Saturday. Mobile (6-3-1, 2-2) will host 3rd-ranked Auburn-Montgomery Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 7 pm. The Rams scored early and often against the visiting Bears, finishing with a 17-10 edge in shots and 9-5 edge in shots on target.
