MOBILE, Ala-- The 14th-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team fell 2-3 at home to Southern States Athletic Conference foe Southern Wesleyan University Friday evening. Mobile (5-3-1, 1-2) hosts Truett-McConnell Saturday at 7 pm. Southern Wesleyan started the scoring in the 26th minute when Caio Santos finished inside the 18-yard box from a difficult angle, and the score stayed 1-0 in favor of the visitors into the second half.

CLEVELAND, Tenn-- The 14th-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team took down Southern States Athletic Conference foe Lee University 2-0 in road action Saturday evening. Mobile (5-2-1, 1-1) hosts Southern Wesleyan Friday, Sept. 28 at 6 pm. The Rams out shot Lee 17-8, but Lee held a 6-5 edge in shots on target. But, they were kept off the scoreboard as Elijah Gibson made six saves to pick up the shutout victory for the Rams.

MARIETTA, Ga-- The 14th-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team fell 2-1 at 7th-ranked Southern Poly in Southern States Athletic Conference action Friday. The Rams managed only 1 shot on goal out of 3 shots, while Southern Poly put 10 of 22 shots on frame. The Hornets also finished with a 14-2 edge in corner kicks. The majority of the opening half went by with the teams scoreless before Alvaro Pichardo put the Rams ahead 1-0 in the 42nd minute, with Sam Blackburn picking up the assist.

ORANGE BEACH, Ala-- The 21st-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team used a pair of second-half goals to rally past Embry-Riddle 2-1 Saturday evening at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. Mobile (4-1-1) will visit Southern Poly Sept. 21 at 2 pm in a Southern States Athletic Conference battle. Despite being out shot 22-14 for the game and 13-7 for the second half, the Rams held an 8-6 edge in shots on frame.

ORANGE BEACH, Ala-- The 21st-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team blanked 15th-ranked UT-Brownsville 2-0 Friday at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. Mobile (3-1-1) will battle Embry-Riddle Saturday at 7:30 pm at the sportsplex. The Rams dominated the tempo from the get-go, finishing with a 25-7 advantage in shots and an 11-2 edge in shots on goal.

THOMASVILLE, Ga-- The 9th-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team fell 1-4 at non-conference foe Thomas University Saturday. Mobile (2-1-1) next plays UT-Brownsville Friday, Sept. 14 at 7:30 pm at the Orange Beach Sportsplex. The Rams finished with a slim 15-12 edge in shots, but Thomas finished with a 10-5 edge in shots on target, and four of those found the back of the net.

MOBILE, Ala-- The 12th-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team battled visiting MidAmerica Nazarene University to a 2-2 double-overtime draw in oppressive heat Monday afternoon. Mobile (2-0-1) will travel to Thomas University Sept. 8 at 3 pm. MidAmerica opened the scoring in the 7th minute when Trent Remmich headed a long cross from Tyler Hageman into the far corner for a 1-0 lead.

FAIRHOPE, Ala-- Playing at Founder's Park in Fairhope, Ala., the 12th-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team held off Northwood 4-3 despite playing a man down for the majority of the game. Mobile (2-0) will host MidAmerica Nazarene Monday, Sept. 3 at 4 pm.

MOBILE, Ala-- Saturday's scheduled University of Mobile home soccer doubleheader has been moved to Founder's Park in Fairhope, Ala., due to all the rain the Rams' home field took from Hurricane Isaac. The 5th-ranked Lady Rams will face 15th-ranked Northwood (Fla.) at 6:30 pm, while the 12th-ranked UMobile men will follow at 8:30 pm against Northwood.

MOBILE, Ala-- The 12th-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team opened the 2012 season with a bang Friday, trouncing visiting Florida Memorial University 9-0. Mobile (1-0) next plays host to Northwood University Sept. 1 at 7 pm. The Rams finished with an 11-3 edge in shots on target, and put nine of those in the back of the net. In goal, Xavier Audergon finished with a three-save shutout.
