HATTIESBURG, Miss-- The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference announced the 2009-10 Women's Basketball All-Conference Team Friday, and Mobile's Alice Honnery made the squad.
There are 15 players on the honorary team. Honnery, a sophomore post player from New South Wales, Australia, averaged 9.5 points, 9.0 rebounds and 4.66 blocks per game.

NEW ORLEANS, La-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team fell 75-48 at Loyola University in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament Quarterfinals Wednesday.
Mobile ends the season with a 17-12 record, while Loyola (18-10) advances to the semifinals Friday.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team knocked off rival Spring Hill College 71-58 Saturday evening to close out the 2010 regular season.
Mobile (17-11, 9-9) assures itself of either the 5th or 6th seed and a first-round bye for the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Tournament. The Lady Rams will play their opening game in the tournament Wednesday, March 3rd with time and opponent to be determined.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team defeated Belhaven University 78-62 in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference action at Pharr Gym Thursday evening.
Davina Jefferson finished with 26 points to lead Mobile, Kyiona Boulton added 14 points and 10 rebounds, Alice Honnery added 9 points, 12 boards and 11 blocks and Morgan Melancon finished with 7 assists for Mobile. Sarah Carr led Belhaven with 14 points.

NEW ORLEANS, La-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team fell 64-52 at Gulf Coast Athletic Conference foe Xavier University-New Orleans Monday evening.
Mobile (15-11) actually out shot Xavier 49% to 36% from the field, but turned the ball over 33 times, while Xavier committed only 15 turnovers. Xavier finished with 24 steals, versus only 6 for the Lady Rams.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball used a big opening half to trounce William Carey University 74-38 Thursday evening in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference action at Pharr Gym.
Mobile (15-10, 7-8) visits Xavier University-New Orleans Monday, Feb. 22 at 5:30 pm. Morgan Crawford and Alice Honnery led the Lady Rams with 15 points apiece, Adrienne Mackay added 14 points and 10 rebounds and Davina Jefferson added 11 points off the bench. Morgan Melancon finished with 8 assists for Mobile.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team fell 58-63 to Tougaloo College in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference action at Pharr Gym Thursday evening. Mobile (12-8, 4-6) visits Loyola University-New Orleans Saturday, Feb. 6 at 5 pm. Morgan Melancon led Mobile with 13 points, Davina Jefferson added 10 points and Alice Honnery finished with 7 points, 10 rebounds, 8 blocks and 5 assists. Erica Grayson tallied 12 points and grabbed 18 rebounds for Tougaloo, while Shalenia Wilcher added 12 points and 6 assists.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team got a record-breaking performance from Alice Honnery and defeated rival Spring Hill College 63-55 in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference action at Pharr Gym Saturday. Honnery broke the school record for blocks in a game with 12, breaking the old record of 11, set by Edmarie Lumbsley in 2001. The sophomore post player also added 14 points and 10 rebounds for a triple-double.
