Dunson Named Capital One Academic All-America 2nd-Team

MOBILE, Ala-- Brittany Dunson was named to the 2013 Capital One Academic All-America College Division Softball 2nd-Team Monday, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The Capital One Academic All-America College Division softball team is comprised of student-athletes from NAIA, Canadian and two-year institutions.

Trio Of Lady Rams Earn Academic Honors

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's tennis team had three student-athletes earn academic honors. Stephanie Tomita and Treya Smith were named to the Capital One Academic All-District Women's At-Large Team for the College Division in District 2, while Smith and Cynthia Summersgill were named Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Lady Rams Fall At National Tournament

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's tennis team fell 0-9 to 9th-ranked Embry-Riddle on day one of the 2013 NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship Tuesday at the Mobile Tennis Center. Mobile falls to 10-5 on the season, while Embry-Riddle (11-10) stays alive at the tournament, which concludes Saturday, May 18.

Men's Tennis Falls At NAIA National Championship

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's tennis team fell 0-9 to Cumberland University on day one of action at the 2013 NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship Tuesday at the Mobile Tennis Center. Mobile finishes the season with a 9-5 overall record. This was Mobile's sixth-straight trip to nationals and 13th overall.

Lady Rams Will Face No. 9 Embry-Riddle At Nationals

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's tennis team will open the 2013 NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship against Embry-Riddle Tuesday, May 14 at 1 p.m., as announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Tuesday. The tournament will take place May 14-18 at the Mobile Tennis Center.

Men's Tennis Headed To National Tournament

KANSAS CITY, Mo.-- The University of Mobile men's tennis team will be making its sixth-straight appearance at the 2013 NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship, as announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Monday. Mobile (9-4) beat out Spring Hill for the host bid, and is making its 13 trip to nationals overall. The Rams won the title in 1993 and 1997.
