Mobile Falls To No. 12 William Carey

HATTIESBURG, Miss-- The University of Mobile men's soccer team dropped its second straight Gulf Coast Athletic Conference contest, dropping a 1-3 decision to No. 12 William Carey University Tuesday evening. The loss came on the heels of a 1-0 overtime defeat against another NAIA Top-25 club, Belhaven College. The Rams (5-8, 1-2) return to action Saturday, Oct. 24 at home when they host Auburn University-Montgomery at 7 pm. Jason Williams made 7 saves and allowed 3 goals in the loss for Mobile.

UM Women Roll Past Covenant 3-1

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team took down visiting Covenant College 3-1 Saturday evening in non-conference action. The Lady Rams out-shot Covenant 22-3 and got a pair of goals from Missy Stovall. Mobile controlled the tempo throughout the game, holding a 12-2 edge in shots on goal.

Rams Fall At No. 24 Belhaven

JACKSON, Miss-- The University of Mobile men's soccer team fell 1-0 in overtime at No. 24 Belhaven College in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference action Saturday. Mobile out-shot Belhaven 12-6 and held an 11-3 edge in corner kicks taken, but could not put find the back of the net. The Rams had struggled to score all season, but tallied seven goals in a 2-game stretch at LSU-Shreveport and Northwood. That momentum did not carry over.

Rams Finish 13th At NAIA Preview Invitational

SILVIS, Ill-- The University of Mobile men's golf team shaved 20 strokes off their round 1 score and finished tied for 13th at the NAIA Preview Invitational Friday. The Rams finished at 60-over 628 (324, 304) to tie for 13th with William Woods University. Oklahoma City won the event with a 26-over 594 (300, 294).

UM Ladies Fall On Road

DALLAS, Texas--- The University of Mobile women's soccer team fell short at Northwood University Monday, dropping a 3-2 decision in non-conference action. Missy Stovall put the Lady Rams on the board first with a goal in the 15th minute, but Northwood added a pair just 4:30 apart to answer. Amber England scored in the 25th minute and Helena Melin tallied a goal in the 29th minute for a 2-1 lead.

Rice And Kirby Finish No. 1 And 2

OLD HICKORY, Tenn-- The University of Mobile's Maegan Rice and Taylor Kirby finished 1st and 2nd at the Trevecca Fall Invitational Tuesday. The University of Mobile women's golf team finished finished 5th out of 6 teams after carding a two-round 670 (335, 335, +94) in the tournament. Lindsey Wilson won the tournament with a 635 (324, 311, + 29).

Ikungo Leads Rams To Win

DALLAS, Texas--- The University of Mobile men's soccer team scored a pair of early goals and hung on to beat Northwood University 2-1 Monday afternoon in non-conference action. Mobile (5-6, 1-0) will return to action against Gulf Coast Athletic Conference foe Belhaven College Saturday, Oct. 17 at 7 pm. The Rams out-shot the Northwood Knights 23-14 and finished with a 15-6 edge in shots on goal. Jason Williams allowed 1 goal and collected 5 saves to pick up the victory for Mobile.

UM Wins GCAC Opener

SHREVEPORT, La-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team used Missy Stovall's hat trick to open Gulf Coast Athletic Conference play with a 3-1 win at LSU-Shreveport Sunday. Mobile (5-5-1, 1-0) will battle Northwood University in Dallas, TX in a non-conference game Monday, Oct. 12 at 3 pm. The two teams battled to a scoreless tie through the first 30 minutes of action, but then the scoreboard began to light up.
