Lady Ram Golfers Sit In 11th At NAIA Preview Tournament

GREENEVILLE, Tenn-- The University of Mobile women's golf team sits in 11th place after round one at the 2011 NAIA Preview Tournament Monday. The tournament is being held at Link Hills Golf and Country Club. It is a Par-73, 6,056-yard course. Lee University and Northwood University sit atop the leaderboard after firing 17-over 309's. UMobile carded a 47-over 339 on day one.

8th-Ranked Lady Rams Grab 1-0 Road Win

CLEVELAND, Ga-- The 8th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team pulled out a 1-0 victory at SSAC opponent Truett-McConnell Saturday afternoon. The Lady Rams (7-2-1, 3-1) will visit Brenau Monday, Oct. 3 at 3 pm (CST). Mobile out shot the Lady Bears 12-2 and put seven of those shots on frame, while Truett-McConnell managed only two shots.

Rams Bounce Back With 4-0 Road Victory

CLEVELAND, Ga-- The 2nd-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team bounced back from its first loss of the season by defeating Truett-McConnell 4-0 in Southern States Athletic Conference action Saturday. Mobile (8-1, 4-1) will next host Emmanuel College Friday, Oct. 7 at 6 pm. Just like they have made a habit of doing all year, the Rams struck early.

Mobile Men Run At Gulf Coast Stampede

PENSACOLA, Fla-- The UMobile men's cross country team finished in 11th place at the 2011 Gulf Coast Stampede Saturday. The 8K meet took place at the Escambia County Equestrian Center. The Rams clocked in with a team time of 2:45:36. Harding won the meet with a time of 2:09:40 and Xavier-Louisiana was the top NAIA finisher with a time of 2:21:49 and a 5th place finish.

Lady Ram Runners Compete In Pensacola

PENSACOLA, Fla-- The University of Mobile women's cross country team placed 15th at the 2011 Gulf Coast Stampede Saturday morning. The 5K run was held at the Escambia County Equestrian Center. Mobile finished with a team time of 2:04:09, while Harding won the meet with a time of 1:34:19. Xavier University-Louisiana was the top finisher among NAIA schools with a time of 1:40:40.

Volleyball Completes 3-0 Weekend Wtih Straight-Set Win

GAINESVILLE, Ga-- The University of Mobile volleyball team capped an undefeated weekend at the Southern States Athletic Conference Cross-Over Tournament by defeating Emmanuel College 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-11) Saturday morning. Mobile (10-9, 4-5) hosts conference rival Faulkner University Tuesday, Oct. 4 at 7:30 pm.
