Lady Rams Win Pair Of 3-0 Non-Conference Matches

NEW ORLEANS, La-- The University of Mobile volleyball team traveled to New Orleans Wednesday to pick up a pair of non-conference victories. The Lady Rams started by downing Dillard 3-0 (25-18, 25-12, 25-18) and finished with a 3-0 (25-17, 25-20, 25-17) win over SUNO. Mobile (18-8, 5-4) visits Brewton-Parker Friday, Oct. 12 at 6 pm. UMobile out hit Dillard .366 to .097, led by 12 kills and a .556 hitting percentage from Bailey Nations. Kiara Gay added 11 kills and 9 digs and Tayler Houseknecht and Disah Kolassiba each finished with 8 kills for Mobile.

Naissim Ayadi Named NAIA Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo.-- The University of Mobile's Naissim Ayadi has been named the NAIA National Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, the national office announced Tuesday. Ayadi was selected based on his performance Oct. 1-7, and was chosen out of a pool of conference/independent/unaffiliated groupings. Ayadi, a sophomore midfielder from Paris, France, tallied 3 goals and 3 assists in two Southern States Athletic Conference victories on the week, finishing with a team high 9 points.

Lady Rams Place 9th; Pigford Finishes 5th

BIRMINGHAM, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's golf team shaved 11 strokess off its first-round score and climbed to 9th place on the final day of the BSC Southern Shootout Monday. The Lady Rams carded a 61-over 621 (316, 305) at the Par-70, 5,801-yard Highland Park Golf Course. Lee University won the tournament with a 27-over 587 (292, 295). Mobile finished ahead of Spring Hill, Jackson State, Faulkner Millsaps and many others in the 22-team field.

Lady Ram Golfers Sit In 13th After One Round

BIRMINGHAM, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's golf team sits in 13th place after round one at the BSC Southern Shootout Sunday. The two-day tournament is being held at the Par-70, 5,801-yard Highland Park Golf Course. The Lady Rams carded a 36-over 316 on day one, while Lee University leads the field with a 12-over 292. Birmingham Southern is in 6th place, only nine strokes ahead of UMobile.

Lady Ram Runners Run In Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla-- The University of Mobile women's cross country team finished 25th at the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic Saturday. The 5K meet was held at the ESPN Wild World of Sports Complex. The Lady Rams finished with a team time of 2:04:22 and had 729 points. Malone won the meet with a time of 1:38:38 and 74 points.

UMobile Men's Cross Country Runs In Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla-- The University of Mobile men's cross country team finished 21st at the Walt Disney World Cross Country Classic Saturday. The 8K meet was held at the ESPN Wild World of Sports Complex. The Rams finished with a team time of 2:51:07 and posted 613 points, while Malone won the meet with a time of 2:11:25 and 36 points.

No. 23 Rams Blast Visiting Faulkner 6-1

MOBILE, Ala--The 23rd-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team cruised to a 6-1 win over visiting Faulkner University in Southern States Athletic Conference action Saturday. Mobile (8-3-1, 4-2) will visit Emmanuel Oct. 11 at 6 pm CST. The Rams only finished with a 17-13 edge in shots, but had a 10-5 edge in shots on frame, and they wasted little time in setting the tempo. The first score came just 1:45 into the game, when Gaetan Massiah volleyed home a cross from Gunnar Steindorsson from point-blank range.

No. 5 Lady Rams Trounce Lady Eagles 6-0

MOBILE, Ala-- The 5th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team blasted visiting Faulkner University 6-0 in Southern States Athletic Conference action Saturday. Mobile (9-3-1, 5-1) next visits Emmanuel College Oct. 11 at 4 pm CST. The Lady Rams out shot Faulkner 25-6 and finished with a 6-2 edge in corner kicks taken. Mobile also finished with a 16-1 edge in shots on target.
