MOBILE, Ala-- The 2nd-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team defeated Truett-McConnell 2-0 in the first round of the SSAC Tournament Saturday afternoon. Mobile (15-3-1, 10-1) advances to the Quarterfinals in Montgomery Nov. 8. The Lady Rams dominated possession, out shooting the Bears 25-4 for the game and finishing with an 11-2 edge in shots on frame.

MOBILE, Ala-- The 7th-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team knocked off visiting Lee University 3-0 Saturday to advance to the SSAC Quarterfinals. Mobile (14-3-1, 9-2) will play at a time to be determined Nov. 8 in Montgomery, Ala. The Rams out shot Lee 23-13 and finished with a 9-4 edge in shots on frame.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball opened the 2012-13 season by blasting visiting Fisk University by a 95-49 score. Mobile (1-0) will visit the University of Southern Mississippi for an exhibition game Nov. 6 at 6 pm.

NORCROSS, Ga. – The Southern States Athletic Conference released the 2012 Women’s Basketball Coaches Preseason Poll, on Friday, November 2
nd. The coaches poll consisted of the head coach from each institution ranking the SSAC overall and their schools division. Lee University topped the ranks with 196 points followed by Faulkner with 173 and Loyola in a close third with 170. Divisionally, Lee topped the East with 55 points followed by Emmanuel with 45. In the West, Faulkner narrowed out Loyola by a margin of three points, 34 and 31 respectively.

NORCROSS, Ga. – The Southern States Athletic Conference released the 2012 Men’s Basketball Coaches Preseason Poll, on Wednesday, October 31
st. The coaches poll consisted of the head coach from each institution ranking the SSAC overall and their division standings. Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU) has been selected by the coaches as the overall SSAC champion receiving 151 points. Lee University trails SPSU by only a four point margin with 147. Loyola rounds out the top three with 124 points.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile volleyball team fell 1-3 (18-25, 16-25, 25-19, 19-25) at Spring Hill College Thursday evening to close out SSAC regular season action. Mobile (23-11, 7-7) closes out the regular season at home Monday at 7:30 pm against Dillard. The Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament takes place in Montgomery, Ala., Nov. 9-10.
