MERIDIAN, Miss-- The University of Mobile men's golf team finished in 6th place out of 10 teams at the Jim Redgate Invitational Tuesday. Mobile posted an 884 (299, 294, 291, +32) in the three-round tournament. Meridian Community College won the tournament by firing a +15 867 (289, 287, 291). Alejandro Salcedo paced the Rams by carding an even-par 213 (72, 70, 71) to finish 6th among 63 individual golfers.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's golf team finished in a three-way tie for 3rd place at the Birmingham Southern Shootout Monday. The Lady Rams carded a 75-over 635 (318, 317) to tie with Lee University and Birmingham Southern. West Florida won the event with a 34-over 594 (300, 294). Leading the way for Mobile was Maegan Rice, who carded a 2nd-round even-par 70 to finish at 5-over 145 for the tournament and finish 2nd individually.

ORANGE BEACH, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team battled NAIA No. 2 Azusa Pacific to a 1-1 tie for 89:30, but fell 2-1 on a goal with 30 seconds remaining on the clock on the final day of the University of Mobile Soccer Classic at the Orange Beach Sportsplex Saturday. Azusa out-shot Mobile 32-5 in the game, but the Lady Rams put up a great fight. Mobile (3-5-1) will next play Monday, Oct. 5 at Reinhardt College at 1 pm (CST).

ORANGE BEACH, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's soccer team fell 2-1 to Oklahoma City Saturday afternoon on the final day of the University of Mobile Soccer Classic, as the Stars tallied a pair of second-half goals to pick up the win. The Rams controlled the first half with a 10-6 edge in shots and a 4-1 edge in shots on target, and took a 1-0 lead into intermission when Onesimus Ikungo knocked in a perfect cross from Gerardo Flores in the 19th minute.

ORANGE BEACH, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's soccer team fell 2-1 to Oklahoma City at the Orange Beach Sportsplex Friday evening in the University of Mobile Soccer Classic. The Lady Stars of Oklahoma City racked up 10 shots on goal out of 16 shots, while Mobile put 6 of 11 shots on target.

ORANGE BEACH, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's soccer team bested Oklahoma Baptist 2-0 at the Orange Beach Sportsplex Friday afternoon in the University of Mobile Soccer Classic. The Rams out-shot the visitors 18-7 in the contest and got a pair of late goals to change the game from a scoreless tie to a comfortable 2-0 victory. Cedric Carrie tallied Mobile's first goal at 77:35 when he worked his way inside the 18-yard box and struck the ball into the back of the net for the 1-0 lead.

WAYNESVILLE, N.C.-- The University of Mobile women's golf team finished in 22nd place at the Great Smokies Intercollegiate. Rain cancelled Sunday's final round, shortening the tourney to one round.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's soccer team (2-4) picked up a much-needed victory Saturday, upsetting NAIA No. 10 Embry-Riddle 1-0. In a physical contest that featured 10 yellow cards, the Rams made David Maddren's goal in the 65th minute stand up. Maddren scored by knocking home a loose ball in the box off a corner kick from Ruben Diaz.

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's cross country team finished 6th of 7 teams at the Azalea City Classic Saturday. The Rams finished with a team score of 183, while South Alabama won the meet with 18 points.

MONTGOMERY—Alexandra Tomasdottir’s goal with 64 seconds left, gave Auburn University at Montgomery a thrilling 2-1 win over the University of Mobile in women’s soccer action. It was a match that saw the Lady Senators dominate the first half and the first five minutes of the second half, outshooting the visitors 13-3, but was unable to get a shot past Mobile goalkeeper Anna Maddox.
