Four Rams Earn NAIA Men's Soccer All-America Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo-- The University of Mobile had four players named to the 2011 NAIA Men's Soccer All-America Teams, as announced by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Monday.

Deshorn Brown was tabbed as a First-Team selection for the second-consecutive year, Chris Dillon and Stephen Okai were named Second Team All-America, and Michael Azira is an Honorable Mention selection.

The NAIA Men's Soccer All-America Selection Committee chose a First Team, Second Team, Third Team and Honorable Mention.

Brown, a sophomore forward, finished 1st in the NAIA with 32 goals, 2nd in total points with 67 and 2nd with 10 game-winners. He tallied nine multi-goal games, five hat tricks and a 5-goal effort against Brewton-Parker.

A 2010 First Team selection, Okai finished the season with 6 goals and 11 assists for 23 points. His 11 assists ranks 18th in the NAIA.

Dillon, a junior defender, started all 20 games for Mobile and found time to tally 5 goals and 4 assists while anchoring a defense that posted 13 shutouts, which was the 2nd most in the NAIA.

Azira, a senior defender, finished with 2 goals and 4 assists while working in all 20 games in his lone season at Mobile.
