Life Scores 51 In Opening Half To Beat UMobile 88-70

MARIETTA, Ga-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team fell 70-88 at Life University in non-conference action Monday evening.
Mobile (7-8, 3-3) visits William Carey University Thursday, Jan. 12 at 7 pm.
Antonio Hester and Brock Dockery each led Mobile with 18 points. Hester shot 8-of-9 from the floor and grabbed 8 rebounds, while Dockery shot 5-of-7 from 3-point range.
PJ Meyers finished with 21 points and 10 assists for Life, while DeAndre Cannon added 17 points on 4-of-6 shooting from 3-point range.
Life out shot Mobile 53% to 49% from the floor, forced 25 turnovers and finished with a 63% to 57% edge in free throw percentage. Mobile finished 10-of-22 from 3-point range.
The Running Eagles outscored Mobile 51-33 in the first half after out shooting the Rams 56% to 48% and knocking down 7-of-9 3-point shots before hitting only 2-of-11 in the final period of play.
