After two scoreless innings to start the game, things fell apart in the 3rd, where a dropped fly ball led to 7 unearned runs crossing home. After the dropped fly loaded the bags with one out, a RBI-groundout, 3-run homer, double and 2-run homer followed.
Mobile answered with two runs in the bottom of the inning on White's homer and a bases loaded walk to Parazine, but the Rams could not finish the rally.
