No. 22 Lady Rams Beat Tigers 3-1

MOBILE, Ala-- The 22nd-ranked University of Mobile softball team finished out the UM Classic with a 3-1 victory over Campbellsville University Wednesday.

Mobile (11-0) will play in the Gulf Coast Invitational Friday-Sunday at the Gulf Shores Sportsplex.

Alli Hall got the win after going the distance, allowing only 1 run on 3 hits, while striking out 8 batters and walking 5.

Johnna Barnes finished 2-for-3 with 2 RBI and a solo homer, Brittany Dunson went 2-for-3 and Hannah Beth Baker finished 2-for-4 at the plate.

Barnes put Mobile up 1-0 in the 2nd with a RBI infield single, and that score held until the Tigers tied it at 1-1 thanks to a 2-out RBI-double in the 5th. Milagros Lozada gave Mobile the lead back in the bottom half of the 5th by drawing a bases loaded walk and Barnes capped the scoring with her solo shot in the 6th.
