Baseball Sweeps Truett McConnell

CLEVELAND, Ga-- The University of Mobile baseball team won a pair of pitchers' duels at Truett McConnell Saturday, winning the 7-inning opener 1-0 and taking the finale 2-0.

Drew Esslinger worked 2 perfect innings in relief and then Shane Ikner nailed down the save with a scoreless 9th.

Single tallies in the 4th and 5th provided the lone runs for the Rams. Cameron White singled to start the 4th and moved to 3rd on an error and sac bunt. He scored on Justin Beck's groundout.
