Lady Ram Runners Open 2012 Season In New Orleans

NEW ORLEANS, La-- The University of Mobile women's cross country team finished 7th at the Loyola University Cross Country Invitational Saturday morning to open the 2012 season.

The Lady Rams posted 188 points and a total time of 2:14:23, while Xavier University won the meet with 33 points and a total time of 1:44:57.

Sarah LeCroy led the Lady Rams with a 39th-place finish by clocking in at 24:31, while Allie Wheeler finished two spots behind with a time of 24:39.

Rachel Halat placed 43rd at 24:55, Ashley Lachappelle clocked in at 28:22 and Katelyn Osborne finished at 31:54.

Mobile will next run at the Azalea City Classic Sept. 15 at 8:05 at at Brookley Gulf Pines Golf Course.
