No. 6 Lady Rams Fall at No. 2 Lee


CLEVELAND, Tenn-- The 6th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team fell 0-2 at 2nd-ranked Lee University in Southern States Athletic Conference action Saturday.

Mobile (5-3-1, 1-1) hosts Southern Wesleyan in a conference tilt Friday, Sept. 28 at 4 pm.

Lee out shot Mobile 13-8 and finished with a 6-2 edge in shots on frame, while tallying one goal in each half.

The first tally came off the foot of Leah Fortune, who knocked home a cross from Amy Cochran in the 14th minute.

Laura Thacker scored the final goal of the game in the 72nd minute, with Ode Fulutudilu picking up the assist.

Gillian McMahon made four saves in goal for Mobile, while Leah Wilson made one save for the Lady Flames.
