No. 4 Lady Rams Trounce Brewton-Parker 9-0

MT VERNON, Ga-- The 4th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team crushed Brewton-Parker 9-0 in Southern States Athletic Conference action Saturday.

Mobile (11-3-1, 7-1) will visit Belhaven University Saturday, Oct. 20 at 5 pm.

Monique Martinez and LaTesha Fleming each finished with two goals in the game for Mobile, while Melissa Maddox had three assists and Christy Lachappelle and Sarah Duren each finished with two assists.

Martinez scored the first two goals of the game, with Jesslyn Fagundes and Lachappelle assisting the first goal.

The next two tallies came when Fagundes scored off a double assist from Lachappelle and Olivia Maddox, and Lachappelle scored off a feed from Melissa Maddox and Kelsie Ruff.

Fleming followed with her first goal, with assists from Duren and Melissa Maddox, Rebekah Counce put one home, with Melissa Maddox assisting and Kali Carver fed Katie Compton for the seventh goal of the game.

The final two scores came when Ruff scored off a feed from Fleming, and then Fleming's second goal of the game capped it all, with Duren picking up another assist.
