Lady Rams Four Strokes Back After Round One

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's golf team sits only four strokes behind Spring Hill College after round one at the UM Fall Classic Monday.

The two-day tournament is being held at Herron Lakes' Par-72, 5,913-Yard course.

The Lady Rams shot an opening-round 51-over 339, while the Badgers carded a 47-over 335 over the opening 18 holes.

Mobile's Devin Pigford and Haley Mize are tied for 2nd place after shooting a pair of 10-over 82's, while Emily Blount sits in a tie for 5th with a +14 86.

Alex Moore is in 8th with a 17-over 89, Kylee Schone shot a 23-over 95 and Kirsty Johnson finished round one at +19 91.

The Badgers' Avery Kyle leads the field with a 6-over 78. The tournament concludes Tuesday.
