No. 7 Mobile Men Win SSAC Tourney Opener

MOBILE, Ala-- The 7th-ranked University of Mobile men's soccer team knocked off visiting Lee University 3-0 Saturday to advance to the SSAC Quarterfinals.

Mobile (14-3-1, 9-2) will play at a time to be determined Nov. 8 in Montgomery, Ala.

The Rams out shot Lee 23-13 and finished with a 9-4 edge in shots on frame.

The scoring started in the 27th minute when Chris Dillon got to a loose ball off a corner kick and fed it to Stephen Okai, who knocked it home from the top of the 18-yard box. Mobile added another goal in the opening half in the 32nd minute, when Chris Dillon headed home a free kick from Gaetan Massiah.

Naissim Ayadi capped the scoring in the 73rd minute when he scored off an assist from Stephen Okai.

Xavier Audergon finished with 4 saves in the shutout victory.
