UMobile Men's Cross Country Runs At SSAC Championship

CLINTON, Miss-- The University of Mobile men's cross country team finished 11th at the 2012 SSAC Championships Saturday.

Mobile finished with 302 points and a team time of 2:41:50 at the 8K meet held at Choctaw Trails. Emmanuel won the championship with 25 points and a time of 2:11:51.

Zach Gaines paced the Rams with a 52nd-place finish and a time of 29:32.71, Colby Verdin clocked in at 30:09, Wade Scott finished at 33:21, Eric Elmore finished at 33:58 and Emil Verde finished at 34:48.

William Carey's Joash Osoro won the individual title with a time of 24:30.36
