NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship Bracket Released

KANSAS CITY, Mo-- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has officially released the opening round pairings and tournament bracket for the 2012 NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship. The University of Mobile is the 5th seed and has a bye to the final site in Orange Beach, Ala., Nov. 26 - Dec. 1.

The Lady Rams will be joined by the winners of 15 Opening Round matches at the final site.
Twenty-four teams earned an automatic berth by winning their respective conference/independent/unaffiliated group tournament or regular season, Faulkner advanced as the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament runner-up and six were chosen as at-large selections based on their standing in the final NAIA Women's Soccer MRPI.
Mobile will await the winner of Viterbo (Wis.) and Olivet Nazarene (Ill.) Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 6:30 pm.. Olivet (16-3-0) is the 12th seed in the field and making its 3rd trip to the tournament, while Viterbo (15-2-1) is making its first trip after winning the Midwest Collegiate Tournament.
The Lady Rams (15-3-2) are making their 7th trip overall to the National Tournament and 3rd-straight, while boasting a 12-5 all-time record and one National Championship.
Faulkner, Lee, Mobile and William Carey represent the SSAC in the tournament. Westmont leads everyone with 15 championship appearances, Lindsey Wilson has 14 and Concordia has 12.
