Men's Tennis Drops 2010 Opener

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's tennis team was blanked by 2009 Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Champion Xavier University - Louisiana 9-0 Friday morning to open the 2010 season.

Mobile (0-1, 0-1) hosts Tuskegee Tuesday, Feb. 9 at 2 pm.

Xavier opened by cruising to a 3-0 lead after doubles play after taking 24 of 28 games and then rolled in singles play, including taking the 4, 5 and 6 battles in shutout fashion.
