Rams Pick Up 97-77 Victory

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's basketball team improved to 2-0 with a 97-77 win over visiting Southeastern Bible College Friday at Pharr Gym.
Brock Dockery scored 19 of his team-high 23 points in the first half and finished with 13 rebounds. Donte Walker added 15 points, 12 of which came in the first half, Ben Healey finished with 11 points and Kevin Calloway scored 10 points for Mobile.
Demetrius Coates scored a game-high 30 points for the visitors, sinking 10-of-13 free throws.
Mobile led only 50-44 at the half, but after the visitors scored the first two points of the second half, the Rams went on a 13-2 run to take a 63-48 lead at the 16:33 mark.
The score stayed in that range until a bucket from Treii Pace at the 7:06 mark gave the Rams a 20-point advantage. Mobile cruised from there, leading by as much as 26 on a pair of free throws from Healey with 1:36 left.
Mobile returns to action Tuesday, Nov. 10 at Faulkner University in a 7 pm contest.
