Rams Compete At Jim Redgate Invitational

MERIDIAN, Miss-- The University of Mobile men's golf team finished in 6th place out of 10 teams at the Jim Redgate Invitational Tuesday.
 
Mobile posted an 884 (299, 294, 291, +32) in the three-round tournament. Meridian Community College won the tournament by firing a +15 867 (289, 287, 291).
 
Alejandro Salcedo paced the Rams by carding an even-par 213 (72, 70, 71) to finish 6th among 63 individual golfers. Teammates Jacob Morgan and Leland Dunning tied for 33rd in the field after carding 12-over 225's. Morgan shot 75's each round, while Dunning improved each round with 76, 75, 74.
 
Tyson Lynn finished at 14-over 227 (79, 77, 71) and Cameron Smith ended at +16 229 (76, 74, 79).
 
Wallace State's Blaise Wilson won individual honors after finishing at 5-under 208 (70, 69, 69) on the Par-71 course.
