UM Opens 2009-10 Season In Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala-- The University of Mobile men's golf team finished 7th out of 15 teams to open the season at the Alabama State University Fall Golf Classic Tuesday at Lagoon Park Golf Club.
 

Tennessee State University won the tournament with a 4-over 580 (289, 291), while the Rams finished at +14 590 (293, 297). Mobile was only two strokes from climbing up to No. 5.
 

Mobile native Tyson Lynn was the top individual performer with the Rams, carding a 2-over 146 (72, 74) to tie for 10th. Cameron Smith and Jacob Morgan tied at No. 14 with a pair of 3-over 147's. Leland Dunning finished 27th with a +6 150 (74, 76) and Alejandro Salcedo finished 41st at +11 155 (77, 78).
