Lady Rams Climb Into Top-25

KANSAS CITY, Mo-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team climbed into the NAIA Division I Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll Monday, as released by the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.
 
The Lady Rams (10-2, 2-0) are ranked 24th with 83 points, ahead of No. 25 Lindsey Wilson and one spot behind No. 23 Wayland BAptist University. Union University leads the way with 309 points, followed closely by unbeaten Saint Xavier University.
 
Mobile has won three straight games and eight of nine contests. They recently knocked off preseason Gulf Coast Athletic Conference favorite Loyola University 64-55.
 
Alice Honnery leads Mobile with 9.8 points and 9.7 rebounds per game, while Adrienne Mackay averages 8.6 points and 5.2 boards per game.
 
The Lady Rams will visit Tougaloo College Thursday at 5:30 pm and Belhaven College Saturday at 5 pm.
