Davenport Takes Down Mobile

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile women's basketball team saw its five-game winning streak come to an end Saturday, falling 68-89 to Davenport University on the final day of the SHC Thanksgiving Classic.

Davenport forced 35 Mobile turnovers and went 13-of-39 from the three-point line versus a 2-of-6 effort from the Lady Rams.

Gerica Johnson led the Lady Rams with 29 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists, while Adrienne Mackay added 10 points and 8 rebounds and Alice Honnery added 10 points and 9 boards.

Carrie Grubius led Davenport with 21 points on a 7-of-13 effort from three-point range, while Janelle Bagneski added 13 and Kristi Boehm added 11.

Mobile (7-2) hosts Concordia College-Selma Saturday, Dec. 5 at 5 pm.
