Mobile Hosts 2010 GCAC Tournament In Gulf Shores

The winner of the tournament will then face the champion from the Sunrise Conference for a bid to the NAIA National Tournament in Decatur, Ala.
The tourney will start Thursday, April 29 with a pair of games each at 3 pm and 5 pm. Mobile-William Carey and Dillard-Spring Hill will start off the tournament, while Belhaven will await the winner of the Spring Hill-Dillard contest.
The tournament is double-elimination and will have games Friday at 10, 12, 2, 4:30 and possibly 6:30. Belhaven is ranked 5th in the latest NAIA Top-25, while William Carey is ranked 16th and Mobile is ranked 20th.

Directions To Gulf Shores Sportsplex: Go east on I-10 to Hwy. 59 (Gulf Shores Hwy.) taking a right onto Hwy. 59 at Ext 44 heading south.
Proceed straight through Loxley, Robertsdale, Summerdale and Foley to County Road 6 (CR 6) where you turn right at a light. This turn comes BEFORE you cross over the inter-coastal canal bridge.
As you turn onto CR 6 there is a pink veterinary clinic on the left. Proceed down CR 6 approximately 1 mile and the track/softball complex is on your right. The softball fields are at the back of the complex.
Allow about 90 minutes of driving time from Mobile.
