Lady Rams Finish Regular Season With Win

New Orleans, La-- The 23rd-ranked University of Mobile women's tennis team defeated LSU-Shreveport 6-0 in Gulf Coast Athletic Conference action Thursday to close out the regular season.

Mobile moves to 16-4 overall and 10-4 in GCAC action. Mobile will face Belhaven University Friday, April 30 at 9 am in the first round of the 2010 GCAC Tournament at the University of New Orleans Tennis Center.

The teams only played singles matches, with Mobile sweeping all six points, including shutout wins by No. 1 Claudia Borges and No. 3 Rachel Hartley. Other singles winners were Zelie Pfeiffer, Kari Williams, Nancy Machen and Emily Jennings.
