MOBILE, Ala-- The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference released the All-GCAC Women's Tennis Team Saturday, and the University of Mobile had three athletes honored.
Mobile native Rachel Hartley was named All-GCAC at No. 3 singles, while the duo of Claudia Borges and Nancy Machen was named All-GCAC at No. 3 doubles. Borges is a native of Compinas, Brazil, while Machen is a native of Boaz, Ala.
The Lady Rams are 17-5 on the season and ranked 23rd in the NAIA Top-25. They are awaiting the official word from the NAIA on the host bid for the 2010 NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship, which takes place May 18-22 at the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center.
