UM Men's Tennis Earns Bid To National Tournament

KANSAS CITY, Mo-- The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics released the qualifiers for the 59th Annual NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship, and the University of Mobile received the host bid.

Twenty-four teams will compete for the national championship May 18-22 at the Copeland-Cox Tennis Center. Defending National Champion Fresno Pacific leads the pack, while Azusa Pacific, Embry-Riddle and Lewis-Clark State Idaho are making their 11th-consecutive appearance in the tournament.

The Rams (10-5) are making their 3rd-straight appearance and have a pair of national titles in the program's history. Auburn Montgomery leads the way with eight titles. Mobile is heading to the tournament for the 11th time overall and 3rd-consecutive season.

Gulf Coast Athletic Conference Champion Xavier University-Louisiana is making its 2nd-straight appearance.

The tournament brackets will be released Tuesday, May 11.
