Lady Rams Add Jenna Williams To JV Roster

MOBILE, Ala-- The University of Mobile Volleyball Team announced the signing of Jenna Williams for the 2010 Junior Varsity roster.

Williams, a 5-7 setter/right-side hitter, hails from Green Cove Springs, FL and prepped at St. Johns Country Day School.

While playing volleyball under Coach Traci Livingston, Williams was named Most Improved Player in 2006, earned the Spartan Award for Excellence in 2009, and was tabbed 1st-Team All-County twice.

She also gained experience playing for the North Florida Pirates 2009-10 and the Jacksonville Junior Volleyball Association in 2008. She was named MVP on both squads.

Like many of the other signees, Williams is excited about joining the team and becoming a part of the UM family.

"I am excited about playing volleyball at the University of Mobile because I am passionate about the game and I want to play the game as long as I can," Williams said. "I am also looking forward to the relationships I will build with my teammates and ultimately bring glory to whom the glory is due, Christ."

The coaches expressed their enthusiasm about Williams joining the team. “Jenna is more than a volleyball player. We are truly looking forward to the good character she brings with her. Her positive leadership will be felt on both JV and Varsity.”
