KANSAS CITY, Mo-- The University of Mobile men's soccer team climbed from receiving votes to No. 16 in the first regular season edition of the 2010 NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll.
The Rams are 2-0-1 on the season, with only a 0-0 double-overtime tie versus 6th-ranked Martin Methodist keeping the team from a 3-0 mark.
Mobile defeated then-No. 18 Bethel College 3-1 to open the season and blasted Milligan College 3-0.
Vanguard University, Judson University and Oklahoma City University all climbed from receiving votes into the Top-25, while Westminster College, California Baptist and SCAD all made the leap from unranked to Top-25.
Lindsey Wilson, Simon Fraser and University of Rio Grande hold down the top three spots in the poll, while Southern Poly, William Carey, Shorter University and Auburn University Montgomery all represent the SSAC in the Top 25 or receiving votes.
Mobile hosts Northwood University out of Florida this Friday at 3:30 pm.
