UMobile Women's Cross Country Places 5th

METAIRIE, La-- The University of Mobile women's cross country team turned in a 5th place finish at the Loyola Wolfpack Invitational Saturday.

The Lady Rams clocked in at 2:11:31.47 as a team, while Loyola University finished 1st at 1:48:45.77. Mobile finished 3rd among SSAC teams, and finished just seconds behind Millsaps College.

Allie Wheeler lead Mobile for the second straight race with a 10th place finish and a time of 21:48.48.

Joanna Canning finished 29th with a time of 23:57.80, Chynna Lee turned in a time of 27:43.68 to finish 40th, Tiffany Tindall finished at 28:56.31 and Kristen Jones finished at 29:05.20.

Shelby Townsend finished at 29:33.23 and Richterica Ford came in at 34:15.06.

Sarah Skotty won the meet with a time of 17:27.77.
