Women's Golf Underway At Great Smokies Tourney

WAYNESVILLE, N.C.-- The University of Mobile women's golf team sits in 24th place after round 1 of the Great Smokies Women's Tournament Saturday.

The Lady Rams posted a 43-over 331 as a team, while Jacksonville State leads the field with a 1-over 289 through day one.

Taylor Kirby paced Mobile with a 7-over 79 after shooting a 38 on the front-nine. Ann Nahl and Taylor Lee both carded 11-over 83's. Both players shot 40 on the front-nine and 43 on the final nine.

Abbie Harris shot a 14-over 86 and Mandy Eads finished with a 102.
