HATTIESBURG, Miss-- The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference announced the 2009 Men's Soccer All-Conference team.
The University of Mobile's Jason Williams (GK), Chris Dillon (DEF) and Onesimus Ikungo (FWD) made the honorary team of 16.
Williams has started 15 games in goal for the Rams, logging 1,328 minutes. The junior from Asheboro, N.C. has 43 saves and 3 shutouts on the year while allowing 1.422 goals per game.
Dillon has started all 16 games in the defensive backfield for the Rams and has found time to tally a pair of goals and one assist on the season. Dillon and the Rams' defense have held opponents to 1 goal or less in nine games this season.
Ikungo has been the Rams' go-to goal scorer this year. While the team has managed 19 goals on the season, the junior from Kampala, Uganda has scored 5 of them, including one game-winner.
The Rams visit Belhaven College Friday at 2:30 pm in a GCAC Tournament Semifinal contest.
