No. 17 Mobile Falls At West Florida

PENSACOLA, Fla-- The 17th-ranked University of Mobile women's soccer team traveled to NCAA II power University of West Florida and lost 2-5 Tuesday evening.

Mobile (5-4-1) hosts Reinhardt College Saturday, Oct. 9 at 1 pm.

West Florida out shot Mobile 17-10 and jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the opening half. Tori Fish scored in the 10th minute, followed by Jodi-Ann Robinson in the 29th minute.

Kassie Ruff scored in the 38th minute of the opening half for the Lady Rams after she stole the ball and put it past the goalkeeper for the 2-1 score.

The Lady Argos then scored three goals in the final 45 minutes to negate an unassisted goal from Mobile's Brianna Simmons in the 75th minute.

Lorna Brownlie collected 5 saves in goal for Mobile.
