Mobile Men Run At Southeast Classic 8K Meet

ROME, Ga-- The University of Mobile men's cross country team competed in the Southeast Cross Country Classic 8K run Saturday, hosted by Berry College.

The Rams finished 27th as a team with a time of 2:50:44.63 and 779 points. Bryan College won the meet with a team time of 2:06:30.59 and 58 points.

Zach Gaines paced Mobile by clocking in at 31:54.68. Teammate Chase Amerson finished right behind Gaines with a time of 32:02.35.

Jeffrey Caviness crossed the finish line at 33:46.96, Stephen Ferguson finished at 34:12.52, John Fincher finished at 38:48.12 and Dominique Hector finished at 38:57.31 for the Rams.

Mobile will next run at the SSAC Championship in Gulfport, Miss., Nov. 6.
